Pinar Korkmaz is studying towards a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her B.S and M.S. degrees from Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Bogazici University in Turkey.

Her research involves power aware computing. She is also a member of Low Power group of Professor Vincent Mooney. She is currently working on the modification of Trimaran simulator for StrongARM compatibility.
