Jinwoo Kim is a Ph.D. candidate in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received B.S. degree from Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea and M.S. degrees from Courant Institiute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University. His current research interests include Embedded Systems, Multimedia, Compiler Optimizations and their interactions. He is currently working with Dr. Weng-Fai Wong (visiting Professor to GA tech from National University of Singapore) and Dr. Krishna Palem to propose a novel memory architecture and algorithms for its use with the aim of enhancing memory performance on quasi-irregular problems (applications which show irregular memory access patterns) using a computational machine learning approach. |
